Intercom solutions
Intercoms provide two way voice from one location to another, as well as remote switching of anything electrical (usually a door or a gate). Intercom systems usually consist of one master unit and one or more slave units, the master is placed at the point of entry and the slaves are placed where the answering is done.
The intercoms we use are based on IP technology which provides several advantages, IP intercoms can be inserted into existing computer networks, answered by any IP phone on the network (or in the world), then the door or gate activated. Calls from the intercom can be programed to divert to a cell phone or landline if no one answers and then the door or gate triggered from that phone.
We can also employ a wireless link to extend the distance between the units for up to thousands of meters, this means no trenching or cable runs are required. If there is no power available we deploy our solar powered solution to keep it running 24/7/365. They can be installed and used just like traditional intercoms, or inserted into existing computer networks.
The intercom solutions we provide are tailored to suit your requirements and budget, see intercom solutions for more on our IP intercoms.

Solar power provides electricity where there is none, when combined with VoIP intercoms many security and access problems can be solved. An intercom is connected to a wireless radio, both are then powered by a solar panel which has a battery backup, this will keep them going at night and when there is poor sun.
The size and cost of the solar installation is minimalised due to the small amount of power being used by the intercom and wireless radio. Because we use wireless radios for communication, intercoms can be placed kilometers away.
The solar solutions we provide are tailored to each individual installation, see intercoms solutions for more on solar powered intercom systems.
