CCTV solutions

Traditional cameras provide video for realtime monitoring and/or recording. Recording can be set at 24 hours a day, for specific times, or on detection of motion.

There are cameras to suit every possible requirement or location. They can be in or outdoors, have wide angle or zoom lenses, work in the pitch dark or under glare from a car headlight, also pan tilt and zoom (PTZ) to view all 360 degrees of a location. Vandal proof and hidden cameras are installed where necessary. When practical, traditional cameras can be turned into IP cameras with the installation of a video server.

We select from a large range of traditional cameras to suit your requirements and budget.

IP cameras provide video for real time monitoring and recording locally and/or remotely. Recording can be set at 24 hours a day, for specific times, on detection of motion or when a sensor is triggered. Connect to the internet for live viewing anywhere in the world on a PC or mobile phone. Built in motion detection can send images via email or ftp.

IP cameras differ from traditional cameras, one difference being the video resolution. IP cameras can provide mega-pixel resolutions, this means you can zoom in many times on a live or pre-recorded video/image without the quality degrading and becoming useless. Incredible quality images are available today with mega-pixel IP cameras.

Another big difference is in the way video is transmitted. IP cameras use ethernet cables like a computer, this means they can be inserted into existing computer networks and recorded on any PC. Most IP cameras also have an I/O connector, this allows you to connect a sensor/s to trigger something and allows for something to be remotely switched, very useful for opening a door or gate.

Video servers are used to convert traditional cameras into IP cameras. Extremely useful when updating an existing CCTV system, no need to replace traditional cameras that still work well, just convert them.

Video servers connect using ethernet cables like a computer, this means they can be inserted into existing computer networks and recorded on any PC. Most IP video servers also have an I/O connector, this allows you to connect a sensor/s which triggers an action while also allowing for something to be switched, very useful for opening a door or gate remotely.

Pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) control is also provided. The video server has a connector designed especially for this function, a click of the mouse on screen is all that is required to move your PTZ camera to a desired target, roll the mouse wheel to zoom in or out.

We Provide video servers with 1, 2 or 4 camera inputs.

The Video recorders we use can save weeks or even months worth of recordings from 1 up to 64 cameras. They can text or call you immediately when an event happens and provide remote live viewing/playback to your PC or cell phone anywhere in the world.

There are three types of recorders, a DVR (digital video recorder) which records video from traditional cameras, a NVR (network video recorder) which records video from IP cameras and a HVR (hybrid video recorder) which records both traditional and IP cameras.

Once set up our recorders are very simple to operate. Watch live footage or playback video from any date or time without hassle. Save yourself hours with the intelligent search function, wasting time searching is no longer inherrant with CCTV recorders.

After hundreds of hours of comparing and field testing we have found the best and most cost effective recording solutions available today.

Wireless camera systems remove the need for wiring where trenching is required, wiring is difficult or cameras are far away. Wireless camera systems are often the best and most cost effective choice. Choose any traditional camera or IP camera for the front end, we then connect it to a high quality wireless radio, place a second wireless radio at the DVR end and you have a cost effective wireless solution.

The wireless radios are chosen specifically for each job depending on the distance they need to cover. Any number of cameras can be deployed locally or 10's of kilometers apart, then monitored/recorded at a central location. It is also possible to connect multiple cameras to one wireless radio, this is done to reduce cost and does not reduce picture quality.

Flexibility is important when designing a wireless camera system, we choose the appropriate hardware to provide you exactly what you need now, whilst leaving you ready for any future additions. We deploy either a Point To Point, Point To Multipoint or Mesh wireless network depending on the number of cameras and size of the site.

When power is an issue at the camera location we install our solar solution. The size and cost of the install depends on the amount of power being drawn. For this reason we use hardware designed for use with solar equipment which has a low draw on power.

We select cameras and wireless radios from a quality range to suit your requirements and budget.
